250 Hampton Newsletter

Friends of 250 Hampton,

It is officially month nine of my search and spring has sprung here in Chicagoland (or perhaps we are in one of our “false spring” periods). I have an opportunity I am very excited about that is local and well established. That’s all I can say for now. In fact, I am going to pause my newsletter indefinitely for two reasons:

1. To focus fully on this new opportunity (or any others that may come if this one doesn’t work out)

2. To be a bit more private when it comes to the details of my search

While I have always loved building in public (first blog in 2004 and podcast in 2005), I have been advised that it is not the best idea when it comes to a search like this. Rather than take any chances, I figured I’d pause the newsletter and I will keep folks in my network (that’s you!) updated in a different, and less public, way.

I plan to re-start this newsletter as soon as I have a deal done and I am operating a business. Then I will shift the content of this newsletter and focus on what it is like to run a small business and what I am learning. Until then, thank you for reading this newsletter and supporting me. Let’s keep in touch via email, phone, and other methods as I continue to push forward.
